The Weiders: Mike, Sarah, Sheralynn, Gabriel and Bethany
This site is written by Mike and Sarah Weider, a Christian family living in Jarkarta, Indonesia. We are here working for Sekolah Pelita Harapan, at a Christian international school. Mike is serving as the international baccalaureate coordinator and religion teacher for grades 10-12, and Sarah serves as a school counselor. Both also assist in worship and and Bible Studies.
Mike Weider hails from Ohio initially, and graduated from Concordia University in Seward, Nebraska. He also holds a masters’ degree from Johns Hopkins University. Sarah also graduated from Concordia-Seward and holds a masters from Loyola. They have served in Lutheran schools in Baltimore, Maryland and in St. Louis, Missouri. Their home church is Zion Lutheran Church in Harvester, Missouri.
Mike and Sarah have three children: Gabriel, Sheralynn and Bethany.
